HUNTINGTON -- Huddleston Bolen has announced that staff members Thomas McChesney and Jill Francisco have been named to the Marshall University Alumni Association Board of Directors.

McChesney is the firm's Director of Marketing and Business Development, and Francisco is an Advanced Certified Legal Assistant. Both work in the firm's Huntington office.

"It is a privilege to be invited to serve my alma mater," McChesney said. "Marshall University has played a key role in my life since I was a child."

McChesney's mother, Beatrice Waldron, and brother, John McChesney both attended Marshall University, as have countless others in his extended family.

"Some of my earliest memories are of walking from my father's hardware store on Charleston Avenue to Fairfield Stadium to watch football games," McChesney added. "Many of my closest friends are on the faculty and staff and I look forward to helping Marshall reach out to alumni, supporters, and prospective students, so that future generations will have the opportunity to share in the tremendous experiences the university offers."

McChesney received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marshall in 1983. At Huddleston Bolen, he works closely with the firm's Marketing Partner, Executive Director, and other senior management to plan and implement the firm's marketing, advertising, public relations, and business development efforts.

"I am excited for the opportunity to give back to the university that has given me so much. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and college experience at Marshall," Francisco said. "I received a high quality of education that adequately prepared me to enter the work force.

"My passion for my profession stems from that experience and I look forward to working with other Marshall Alumni that share the same level of enthusiasm for Marshall."

Francisco received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Legal Studies from Marshall University in 1994. In 2005, she successfully completed the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Certified Legal Assistant examination and obtained the Advanced Certified Legal Assistant designation in 2006. Ms. Francisco has been employed as a paralegal at Huddleston Bolen LLP since 1997.
