* In December 2009, Friend received notification from a UHA representative that his medical records had been accessed on three separate occasions without his authorization. Rachel Friend a former UHA employee, had accessed Friend's records and relayed his medical and psychiatric information to residents in his community. Friend is seeking damages, award for emotional distress and embarrassment, legal fees, and pre- and post-judgment interest.
